Africa has a population of more than a billion people, with a realatively young population and a developing digital capacity. Post the virus it needs to ensure its economic growth and job creation are sustainable. Climate stability will be important for its tourism industry and agriculture, in order to unlock its true potential. A key focus area will be the ability of governments to improve accountability, strengthening skills development, increasing access to digital tools and financial services, increasing security and bolstering equality.
The question is, can government, labour and business come together build a better society?
